Cookie Policy
Which cookies and storage technologies this site uses, and how to manage them.
Last updated: June 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on the device of those who visit them. Alongside cookies, websites may use similar browser local-storage technologies (such as localStorage) to remember certain information between visits. On this page, for simplicity, we refer to all these technologies as “cookies”.
2. The cookies used by this site
This site takes a minimal approach: at present it uses only one technical technology, needed to remember your choice on the cookie banner. No profiling cookies or third-party statistical analysis tools are installed.
Technical cookies (always active)
These are essential to the proper functioning of the site and do not require your consent.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| gc_cookie_consent | Technical (browser localStorage) | Stores the choice you express on the cookie banner, so it is not shown again on every visit. | Persistent, until you manually clear the site’s data from your browser. |
Statistical and third-party cookies (not active)
At present none are present. Should traffic-measurement tools be introduced in the future (for example to understand which content is most read), they will be activated only with your prior consent, collected via the banner, and this page will be updated accordingly with the full list.
3. The consent banner
On your first visit, a banner appears asking how you wish to proceed. The «Essential only» choice still lets you access the entire site using technical cookies alone. The «Accept all» choice also enables any statistical cookies, where present. Your choice is remembered; you can change it at any time as indicated below.
4. How to manage or withdraw consent
You can withdraw or change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s browsing data from your browser: on your next visit the banner will reappear and you will be able to express a new preference.
You can also manage and block cookies directly from your browser settings. Instructions are available in the support pages of the main browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
5. References
The processing of any personal data collected is described in the Privacy Notice. For further information, you can consult the website of the Italian Data Protection Authority.
